IRON MOUNTAIN -- A woman charged with possession of contraband pled guilty Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Stacey Hupp of Kingsford appeared in circuit court Monday afternoon being charged with possession of marijuana while in jail. Hupp plead guilty to the charge and explained the situation.

"I was in the holding cell, and I think they started seeing my behavior was a little odd and took me out for a second search and at that point had found what I attempted to get," said Hupp.

Hupp also admitted to possession of personal prescription drugs in addition to the marijuana.

She's scheduled to appear in court on February 5 for sentencing.
