Prison time for man involved in armed robbery

ALGER COUNTY -- One of the four men allegedly involved in a break-in and armed robbery of a Munising Township resident was sentenced on Wednesday.

George Carmona was sentenced in Alger County court on Wednesday afternoon. Carmona, 24, pled guilty to armed robbery regarding the incident that took place in February.

His sentence is 135 months, to a maximum of 225 months in jail with over $800 in court fines.

The trial of Ruben Rodriguez, another individual charged in this case, was in its second day on Wednesday.
