MARQUETTE -- The Ore Dock Brewery in Marquette was alive with music Sunday and for a good cause. Four local bands took the stage in the brewery to raise money for the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum.

A five dollar donation was required for entry. The money will be used to enhance the music room at the museum.

The concert was a family-friendly event welcoming adults and children alike. It was put together by a new local music committee called Flonk.

"I hope everybody has a good time. I think it's going to be a great show. It looks like we got a good turnout, so that's great," said Denise Owens, co-organizer.

Well over 100 people came in to support the museum.
