HANCOCK -- The holidays are over and it's business as usual, but for those of you who still want a little relaxation, some places are still offering a place to escape.

Finlandia University reopened an art exhibit on campus for public viewing. The "From There to Here" exhibit features work from artist Marja Lianko. Lianko's gallery displays pieces that reflect different stages throughout her life.

Gallery director Carrie Flaspohler says visiting a gallery can have a calming effect.

"It gives you different perspectives that maybe you hadn't thought about," said Flaspohler. "In this case in particular, I think there's something beautiful. Her work is really about beauty and natural beauty."

The exhibit will be open at the Finnish American Heritage Center through January 12.
