Fire destroys Ironwood duplex

IRONWOOD -- UPDATE: 10:42 p.m.

Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with the fire.  Police say the cause was an active meth lab on the second floor.  The names of those arrested are being withheld pending arraignment.

A fire on New Year's Eve destroyed a duplex in Ironwood.  All tenants were able to get out safely.

The fire broke out just after 9:30 Monday night at 131 South Mansfield Street.  The building is a complete loss.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
