HOUGHTON -- New Year's Eve is right around the corner, and as you plan your resolutions, one company is asking you to plan your ride home.
Neil's Taxi in Houghton County is offering free taxi rides from the bars to your homes on New Year's Eve. The taxi service hopes to prevent driving under the influence and unnecessary car crashes.
"Just to keep them safe and sound, and get them home safe," said Steve Bates of Neil's Taxi. "The loved ones, get them home safe."
Neil's Taxi will be providing rides New Year's Eve from midnight until 4 a.m. If you are interested in a ride from the taxi service, you can call (906) 482-5515 for Houghton/Hancock and (906) 337-1800 for Calumet/Laurium.
