Sentencing date set for man involved in neighbor dispute

SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTY -- A Schoolcraft County man will be sentenced next month after pleading in a case that started as a neighbor dispute and ended with the suspect being pepper sprayed.

Larry Allen Kouw pled guilty to resisting and obstructing a police officer. His sentencing date is set for January 24 in Schoolcraft County.

In October, Kouw was taken into custody after the incident in Hiawatha Township.
