HOUGHTON -- The Rozsa Center was filled early Saturday morning as ROTC cadets were commissioned into service.

Our U.S. Military now has four new officers. Family, friends, and administration gathered to see the cadets take the oath.

This year four cadets were sworn into service:  one U.S. Army and three U.S. Air Force.

"I really hope that I can bring my degree into bearing and that I can bring everything that I learned here over the last four years and my degree. I'm also hoping that I can bring a little fun and happening whenever I can bring a light-hearted side to it," said Lt. Nat Schenck, U.S. Army.

After taking the pledge, parents pinned gold bars on their cadets' uniforms. Then the cadets gave their first salute.
