ISHPEMING TOWNSHIP -- Santa Claus was making his rounds to spread some Christmas cheer.

Every year, Saint Nick works with the Ishpeming Township Fire Department to visit local kids. He traveled with Sparky and the volunteer firefighters to Ishpeming, Ely, and Tilden Townships.

Santa gave a bag of candy to all the good boys and girls.

"I played on the Wii with my sister and then came running out here to see Santa," said nine-year-old Lyla Burke.

"I got to meet Santa and he gave me a bag of goodies," said 10-year-old Lila Bartkowiak.

"It was fun meeting him and getting a goody bag," said 10-year-old Austlyn Rajala.

Santa ended his tour at the Ely Township Hall.
