SPREAD EAGLE, WI -- Soldiers overseas will be a little bit warmer this winter thanks to the Eric Palmisano Care Project.

Woman's World magazine featured the non-profit in their "Help a Hero" section for any one item they felt soldiers needed the most, and they chose hand warmers.  The article came out in early November and since then, boxes of hand warmers have been coming to their house almost daily.

"They came before this magazine was on the newsstand; they've been coming every single day. This is an example, this is just today's mailing. Everyday we receive hand warmers for the care packages from all over the country," said Palmisano Care Project Coordinator, Bobbie Samme.

Samme says half the battle is finished, and now they need to try to raise the funds to ship everything.
