IRON MOUNTAIN -- Dickinson County Hospital staff and residents came out for the hospital's 26th Annual Love Lights tree lighting ceremony.  The Christmas tradition began in 1986 at the old Dickinson County Hospital as a way to kick off the holiday season with staff and the community.

Along with the tree lighting ceremony, a charm tree is also displayed in the main lobby as a lasting tribute to lost family members.

"It gives us a chance to honor friends and loved ones who have passed and really allows our Christmas family to reach out to our community family and really try to engage in the holiday season," said John Schon, President of Dickinson County Hospital.

The money made from the charms are used toward the goals and missions of the Dickinson County Hospital Foundation.
