Father, son in court on home invasion charges

MARQUETTE -- Two men who pled guilty to breaking into a home in Forsyth Township were in Marquette County Circuit Friday.

Phillip Boyette, Jr. and Phillip Boyette, Sr. are both charged with invasion of a home on Princeton Drive in Gwinn.

Both were sentenced Friday.

Boyette Sr. was sentenced to 12 months probation and 20 days in jail.

Boyette Jr. will serve 15 days in jail for obstructing and resisting an officer, but the home invasion sentence has been delayed for a year.
