IRON MOUNTAIN -- An Iron Mountain resident was sent to the hospital after a two car crash on US-2 in front of Walmart.
Iron Mountain Police officers say at 1:30 p.m. CST, a westbound vehicle was making a left into the Walmart shopping center when it was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on US-2.
The 79-year-old female driver of the westbound vehicle was transported to Dickinson County Hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The 22-year-old female driver of the eastbound vehicle received minor injuries but denied needing treatment for those injuries.
The Iron Mountain Police Department was assisted on scene by Beacon Ambulance as well as the Iron Mountain Fire Department who responded for fluid clean up.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
