Fatal fire victim identified

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- The woman who died in a Marquette Township fire early on Thursday morning has been identified by Marquette authorities.

Amy Cook, 37, was killed in the fire that took place at around 5 a.m. on Moran Street.

When Marquette Township fire crews arrived on the scene the house was fully engulfed. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Cook was the primary resident of the home where the fire took place.
