MARQUETTE -- The Peter White Public Library in Marquette is becoming a winter wonderland.

There are more than 30 Christmas trees throughout the library which are in the process of being decorated.  Organizations, families, or people from the community sponsor a tree and deck it out.

"When they come up with their themes and their ornaments, they really take the time to think about what's important and what the holidays really mean.  It's just a big Christmas card for the community, wishing everyone well and getting people down to what is really important in life," said Margaret Boyle of the Peter White Public Library.

It's a tradition that's been going on for 25 years.

They'll have an open house this Sunday from 1:30-3 p.m. in the afternoon for people in the community to see the Winter Wonderland Walk.
