MARQUETTE -- Econo Foods stores in the U.P. will be matching your donations for our TV6 Canathon.

Every year they pick a day to match, pound for pound, all the food donated for the Canathon. This year Friday, November 30, is the day to see your donations doubled.

Last year Econo Foods contributed more than 4,000 pounds of food.

"Smaller communities, tight knit communities, stuff really does go full circle. People help us out a lot, our customers are great to us, so we like to give back whenever we can," said store manager Zach Quinnell.

The TV6 Canathon continues until December 6. If you can't make it to Econo Foods on Friday, a number of other drop-off sites have been set up. For a full list of those sites, head over to our Canathon page.
