State Police arrested three suspects after year long investigation

BARK RIVER -- State Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a home invasion and felonious assault of a Bark River man.

Troopers arrested 20-year-old Ashley Stodola, 21-year-old Alyna Brunette and 19-year-old Michael Jones, all from Escanaba.

The incident occurred in Bark River Township. The arrests come after a yearlong investigation.

Jones and Stodola are being held in the Delta County jail. Brunette has been released on bond.

Police say other suspects could also be charged.
