DETROIT (AP) -- Detroit police say a 20-year-old man was shot after accidentally bumping into someone on a city bus.
Sgt. Eren Stephens says the shooting took place around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. She says the victim was on a crowded Detroit Department of Transportation bus when he accidentally bumped into the gunman.
Stephens says the two men had just gotten off the bus when the suspect pulled out a weapon and shot the victim before fleeing.
