MARQUETTE -- The Forest Roberts Theatre on Northern Michigan University's campus is being transformed for the Halloween season.

This is the fourth year for the theatre's Haunted Theatre event.

They've turned the stage into a spooky maze with actors ready to scare those who enter. In years past, they've even had adults who couldn't make it all the way through.

"It's a great time. It's scarier than the other events that most people have been to around Marquette. I think it helps put Halloween in perspective and really showcases what we can do here at the theatre," said theatre intern Nikke Nason.

The Haunted Theatre is open Thursday through Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m., with a special family-friendly version on Saturday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for NMU students, $10 for the general public and the family rate is $15.

Tickets are available from NMU EZ-Ticket outlets, online or at the theatre. You can call (906) 227-2082 or visit www.nmu.edu/theatre for more information.
