MARQUETTE -- The NMU Wildcat Hockey team won their exhibition game Sunday, and after the game, kids had the chance to skate with their favorite Cats.
It was the 15th annual "Skate with the Cats". Members of the Young Wildcats Club had some fun on the ice rink. Kids got the chance to meet with these big cats, get some pictures and autographs.
"It just totally gets them in the community and [gives] them an opportunity to meet the hockey team that, you know, they support," said Melissa Young, NMU Athletics.
Some kids even got their parents to get on the ice.
