HOUGHTON -- A man suspected of running a meth lab in Chassell will have his case go to trial.   A Houghton County judge determined 21-year-old Curtis Stough's trial will begin January 16.  Both attorneys agreed on the date.

"We have had discussions resolving the matter and I gained some additional background information this week provided to the defense council today's date.  We haven't had the opportunity to explore the full effect of those to determine whether or not we can resolve this," said Houghton County Prosecuting Attorney, Michael Makinen.

Stough pled not guilty to attempted manufacturing of methamphetamine and operating and maintaining a meth lab back in August.
