KINGSFORD -- Thursday nearly a dozen different schools and over 500 faculty members came to Kingsford High School learning the causes of bullying and how to reverse them.

Author Lt. Col. Dave Grossman explains "kids are more likely to get killed by violence in schools than any other possible cause of death combined".

Grossman tells faculty a major contributor to youth violence and aggression is violent visual imagery.

"We know that the number one predictor of violence in the classroom and bullying in the classroom is viewing violence on television, movies and video games," informs Grossman.

Grossman insists parents should follow television and video game rating systems. He also recommends putting kids on a television diet restricting them to no more than 30 minutes a day.

"When a show says parental guidance recommended listen to that and limit your children's exposure."
