MARQUETTE -- If you have an antique you want to know more information about, well you can take it to the Antique Appraisal Fair on Saturday, September 8 at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.

Well known antique appraiser, Mark Moran, will be at the fair to check out your items.  He has over 30 years of experience appraising antiques.  He can look at anything from fine art, to furniture, ceramics, glassware and more.

There are a limited number of tickets still available.

"They'll get an expert opinion on what their item is worth.  I think they can probably benefit from his expertise.  It's a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity. Everybody has something in their home they may be wondering about," said Margaret Boyle of the Peter White Public Library.

If you're not sure if he can view your antique, call the library at (906) 228-9510 and find out.  Tickets are $15 and they're selling fast.

To purchase a ticket, stop by the library located 217 N. Front Street.
