HOUGHTON -- After a little over three hours of deliberation, the jury finally came back with a verdict on the alleged purse thief.

Nineteen-year-old Michael Hylton was found not guilty of first degree home invasion, but the jury did find him guilty of larceny in a building. After a one day trial, Hylton's attorney claimed he was accused of stealing an 84-year-old woman's purse

A sentence date has not been made for Hylton, but he could face up to four years in jail.
