MARQUETTE -- Marquette City Police were called to the Long Shot Saloon Friday night for a report of a stabbing.  The call came in at 10:30 p.m.

Officers responded to a large fight at the bar. When they arrived, they found the 42-year-old male victim in the bar. He had been stabbed numerous times. The suspect, a 31-year-old Marquette man, had fled the scene but was found and arrested shortly after.

An ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.  The victim was treated and released from Marquette General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released any other details.  We'll have more information as it becomes available.
