HOUGHTON -- Michigan Technological University has received recognition for being one of the Midwest's best universities for a second year in the row, according to the Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review looks at the best colleges in the nation, breaking them down region by region, and for the second year in a row MTU has made the "Best in the Midwest" list of 153 institutions.

Tech was also included in the Princeton Review's "Best 377 Colleges" publication.

"We believe our ranking in the Princeton Review reflects our academic reputation, along with the adventurous spirit of our students, as we prepare them for top jobs," said Les Cook, vice president for student affairs. "Michigan Tech creates opportunities for students to explore, engage and excel in making an impact on our world."
