Police seek answers in missing woman's death

GOGEBIC COUNTY -- The Gogebic County Sheriff's Department is looking for answers in the disappearance and death of 79-year-old Ethel Grzena-Peters of Bessemer.

Police announced on Monday that they are looking for anyone who may have seen the 1995 Dodge Dakota pictured here.

If you witnessed this vehicle on North Moore Rd. near the Black River Bridge or anywhere in Gogebic County between 6 p.m. on August 3 and 6 p.m. on August 4, please contact the sheriff's office at (906) 667-0203. You can also contact the Michigan State Police at (906) 224-1218.

The remains of Grzena-Peters were found in Watersmeet Township on August 13. She was last seen in Bessemer the evening of August 3.
