MARQUETTE -- A boat with the Ensign National Championship Regatta partially sank in Marquette's Lower Harbor on Thursday afternoon, according to the US Coast Guard.

Coast Guard officials reported that the crew was able to get off the vessel safely, and that the boat was being towed to shore.

According to the boat's skipper, the vessel turned sharply and was tipped. It then began taking on water and partially sank.
