IRON MOUNTAIN -- Students in summer science camp in Iron Mountain recently learned a little bit about chemistry.

They were experimenting, making their own version of glue out of milk, vinegar and baking soda.  Students say they enjoy all the hands on science experiences and being inventors for a week.

"You get to make a bunch of stuff, like today, we got to make our own homemade glue, and we had a competition with it," said sixth grader, Mercedes Huotari.

Students tested their creations to see how well their homemade adhesives would hold up.  The winning team's glue held over 170 pennies.
