MARQUETTE -- The United States Olympic Education Center (USOEC) Greco-Roman Wrestling Team began their first day of wrestling camp Wednesday.

The team will be competing in the World University Team Trials in Colorado Springs later this month.  Depending on the results of the trials, they may compete at the World Tournament in Finland in mid-October.

To prepare, the wrestlers will be practicing with their coach twice a day.

"Getting our sleep schedule right, getting our weight right, just making the final preparations.  A lot of the learning process is over by now.  We're just fine tuning everything and just getting ready physically and mentally," said Wrestler, Zac Nielsen.

Team USA has not won any medals for Greco-Roman wrestling at the London Olympic Games.

The USOEC wrestlers hope to do better in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
