Brian Chapman Howe, 44, is charged with one count of operating or maintaining a meth lab and one count of conspiracy to operate or maintain a meth lab.

The charges stem from an incident in December when a meth lab at a Gwinn home exploded.   Howe was severely burned in the explosion.  Howe did testify in his own defense Thursday.
