Poll: Raising the Minimum Wage
Dozens of people marched in downtown Marquette Tuesday afternoon in support of minimum wage increase.
The group "Good Jobs" organized the rally on Front Street, calling on Congressman Dan Benishek to support the increase. They later marched to his Marquette office delivering a petition.
They say raising the minimum wage will create thousands of jobs in Michigan and help minimum wage employees.
Michigan's current minimum wage sits at $7.40 per hour.
