MARQUETTE -- Families enjoyed a game-filled night at the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum in Marquette Thursday evening.

It was the museum's "Second Thursday Creativity Series."  The museum holds the event every month, and this day's theme was games.  There were various stations throughout the museum with different games and activities.

The Jumanji game made kids explore different parts of the museum.  Others played human-sized checkers.  Everyone enjoyed music from the Suzuki Strings of Marquette.

The event has fun for the whole family, not just kids.

"It's a time when kids can be together with their parents.  They can learn from their parents, and most of all, they can laugh with their parents," said Museum Director, Nheena Weyer Ittner.

Second Thursday Creativity Series is held every month, and next month's theme will be Maritime Fun.
