MARQUETTE -- Several young artists spent Wednesday painting for the Marquette Matters Mural Project at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center.

Kids aged five to eighteen worked on ten large murals that will be installed at the Marquette Commons for the farmers market season.

They were pre-drawn by a professional artist and feature unique images about Marquette.

Kids still have another chance to help out. The Marquette Arts and Culture Center in the Peter White Public Library will be open for painting Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The murals will be hung at the end of July.
