MARQUETTE -- If you're looking to get out into the great outdoors, you can rent a cabin at Harlow Lake.

In an effort to free up resources from the Forest Recreation Division, you can now rent cabins through the DNR's Parks and Recreation. The cabins are located along Harlow Lake and gives campers a chance to fish, hike and take in some of the beauty of the Upper Peninsula.

"The DNR is working in an effort to keep things up and running and to keep those cabins and state forest campgrounds well-maintained.  It's a good place to come and stay, a nice little home away from home.  It's a great family vacation experience," said DNR Park Officer Matena Coron.

The cabins are available for rent year round.  The one-room cabins can accommodate six people.  There is a wood stove and no electricity.

The cost is $65 a night, and a minimum two-night stay is required.

If you're interested in renting a cabin, check out the DNR's cabin reservations website.
