MARQUETTE -- The two suspects charged in connection with the stabbing of a Marquette man will move to circuit court.

Authorities say 19-year-old Danny Weymouth and 19-year-old Taylor Mitchell, both from Ishpeming, were involved in the stabbing of Zachary Skinner.  Marquette County Prosecutor Matt Wiese summarized the incident as a "drug deal gone bad".

According to officials, Mitchell and Weymouth got into a fight with Skinner then Mitchell stabbed Skinner in the head, leg and back.

Weymouth faces charges of conspiring to deliver controlled substances.  Mitchell has been charged with delivering controlled substances and two counts of felonious assault.

Mitchell and Weymouth will be arraigned in circuit court on July 13.
