MUNISING -- A Munising pizza company is dishing out some pizza to help a local family in their time of need.

The group, Cookin' Carberry's, has a long history of cooking up some pizza pies for a good cause.  In the past, they helped raise $30,000 for a new bike path, and for local softball teams.

At Tuesday's farmers market Cookin' Carberry's made the pies to help raise money for Joe and Alice Prunick, who lost their home and possessions to a fire earlier this month.

"Fire is a real tragedy, you lose a lot," said owner Suzie Carberry.  "Even if people have insurance you still lose things that you can't replace, or you may not be able to replace, so this is just a way to help them out."

The Cookin' Carberry's is already planning their next pro-bono project, helping the Parks and Recreation Department raise money for their capital fund.
