MARQUETTE -- Police are seeking the public's help in locating a hit-and-run suspect.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday on US-41 in the southbound lane of the construction zone near the Birchmont Hotel. A blue Chevrolet-type pickup truck struck a 2011 GMC Terrain, gold in color, according to police. The driver of the pickup made some contact with the other vehicle's driver and then left the scene. The pickup truck should have front end damage and was driven by a male with dark hair believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s.
