One dead, one in hospital after fiery crash

MENOMINEE COUNTY -- One person is dead and another injured after authorities reported to a vehicle on fire call after a crash on Sunday night.

According to the Menominee County Sheriff's Department, there was a report of a vehicle in a ditch and on fire at 11:47 p.m. on Sunday.  The vehicle was at the intersection of Range Line Rd. and Highway M-35 in Menominee County.

 


The driver of the vehicle was transported to Bay Area Medical Center and airlifted to St. Vincent in Green Bay, according to officers.  Authorities also reported that a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead.

This incident is still under investigation, and the sheriff's department is not releasing names at this time.
