MARQUETTE -- Marquette Little League teams are getting some new gear just as they begin their season.

Chevy dealers throughout the country are donating money to little league teams, and Frei Chevrolet in Marquette is following suit.  They're donating $500, practice gear, and raffle tickets.  All of the earnings from the tickets go toward the teams, and the winner could win a new Chevy.

"Children that go home at night and ready to go to sleep are great kids.  In my experiences as a dealer and living in this town all my life, student athletes are our future. And to be a student athlete and have really good grades, that's a home run,"  said Jim Grundstrom of Frei Chevrolet.

The drawing for the winning raffle ticket will be in July.
