MARQUETTE -- The Lake Superior Watershed Partnership is getting set to hold its first ever boat swap on Saturday.  It will include any and all types of boats.

The boats will be on display in the parking lot of the Berry Events Center on the campus of Northern Michigan University.

Participants will be able to make deals and get to know members of the boating community.

"It's a great way to meet some of the staff and board members from the watershed partnership and these other organizations and members of the organizations, so I think there will be a lot of socializing, and it will be a fun time to look at boats," said Carl Lindquist of the LSWP.

Proceeds will benefit the Lake Superior Watershed Partnership, the Marquette Maritime Museum and other local groups.
