MARQUETTE -- The Marquette City Police held a fundraiser Monday night for its two new drug dogs.

Vango's in Marquette prepared more than 50 pounds of pasta and 20 gallons of meat sauce.  Seven dollars at the door got you spaghetti salad and garlic bread.  One of the owners of Vango's is just happy to be able to help out.

"I think it's just important if you have an opportunity to give back, and I think that people appreciate that and in return, hopefully, they support us as a business and know that we really care about the community that we live in," said Michele Butler, co-owner of Vango's.

All proceeds will go to help train two new police dogs, Kai and Frodo.
