ISHPEMING -- The fourth annual Hike for Tikes is gearing up, and Kevin Kukla is looking for pledges.

Kevin and his brother will be setting out on a tour of Upper Michigan's wilderness as they hike from the Al Quaal Recreational Area in Ishpeming all the way to Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay.  In the three years they've been hiking, they have raised more than $10,000 for Bay Cliff, and they say the hike is well worth it.

"It's awesome," said Kukla.  "The kids are happy to see us, they got signs and we're kind of like their idols, and just knowing that we raised a bunch of money for Bay Cliff makes you feel good.  If I was to do it for anything, I couldn't think of anything better to do it for."

Kevin will set out with his brother on May 13.  The hike will take five days, and they plan to arrive at Bay Cliff on May 18 at noon for a lunch with the kids.

To make a pledge, head over to the Hike for Tikes Facebook page.
