MARQUETTE -- The Isle Royale Queen III is getting ready to take people on a cruise of the Upper Peninsula's scenic waters. The ship is 81 feet long and can hold up to 100 people. The cruise is two hours long and takes passengers from Marquette's Lower Harbor to Partridge Island, Middle Island Point and Presque Isle. The crew says it's a unique way to see some of historic Lake Superior.

"You can almost feel like royalty when you are on that top deck and you're looking down on the beautiful shoreline and all the beautiful historic housing and the quaint little cottages that we will see in Middle Bay. It will be a gorgeous trip," said Molly Carmody, owner and manager of the Isle Royale Queen III.

The ship is also available for private charter and will have its maiden voyage for the season on May 18. For more information on the cruise including a full schedule, click here.
