IRON MT. -- Iron Mountain residents made a trip to Greenway Books for Michigan Republican Peter Konetchy who was there for his book signing.

Konetchy, a Senate hopeful, shook hands to learn what was on the minds of potential voters and took the time to share what side of the fence he was on. Konetchy believes that the federal government is too involved and is the result of many domestic issues our country is facing such as Medicare, social security and the nation's debt crisis.

"The government has made the United States the worst business climate in the world," said Konetchy. :The corporate tax rate is extremely high, the EPA is micro-managing businesses through regulations, and we have the Obamacare which is health care regulations."

Konetchy believes the government should be limited to specific constitutional powers and allow the citizens to handle the rest.
