NEGAUNEE -- The City of Negaunee will be under a water boil advisory Tuesday, and the area impacted has been expanded.

The city will be replacing three broken valves located at Cedar Street, Maas Street from Baldwin Avenue to Croix Street, and Croix Street to Birch Street.

Owaissa, Nakomis, Wenonah, Keewaydin, Opechee and Muskoday streets are also under the water boil advisory.

Officials say that residents may see discoloration in their water due to system flushing.  Residents are also advised to flush their service line until water clears up.  The boil advisory remains in effect until further notice.
