IRON MOUNTAIN -- A man convicted of sexually assaulting an incapacitated victim in Dickinson County has been sent to prison.  Matthew David Robinson, 22, pled guilty to 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.

The prosecutor read a letter from the victim that described the trauma she has undergone since the incident.  The judge sentenced Robinson to 30 months to 15 years in prison.

After he serves his 30 month minimum sentence, the parole board will determine his release date.  Fifteen years is the maximum sentence set by statute.  Robinson will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
