DICKINSON COUNTY -- UPDATE:  9:15 p.m.

The Department of Natural Resources was on the scene of a brush fire in northeast Dickinson County on Friday evening.

It was discovered around 4:30 on Friday afternoon.  The DNR says the fire has grown to about four acres in size, and continues to spread.

There was also a small wildfire reported just south of Ishpeming on Island Lake Road off of County Road 581.  That fire was about an acre in size and has been contained.

In Republic, a small grass fire was put out on Friday afternoon.

We will have reports on the Dickinson County fire as they come in.
