NEGAUNEE -- The water boil advisory that was issued in Negaunee on Wednesday has been lifted, according to the City of Negaunee.

The water has been cleared for consumption and cooking.

The boil advisory was the result of a loss in pressure in the water system in an area of Negaunee.  The water was tested for contamination as a result of the pressure loss.
