IRON MT. -- The 2012 Bellin Health Pine Mountain Continental Cup will take place on Feb. 11 and 12. Tickets are on sale now in the form of buttons. It's a ski jumping competition.
You can pick them up at any First National Bank Branch and also at the Dickinson Area Partnership. The race is a Yooper tradition, and it's looking like it's going to be even bigger this year than in years past.
"Usually at this time we're struggling to get teams to come and join us, and we're usually happy to get seven or eight teams. This year I've heard from 13 teams that are interested in coming," said Susie Fox of the Kiwanis Ski Club.
This is the 73rd year jumpers will compete at the Pine Mountain ski jump, which is about 120 meters long.
